Scrape a flounder

on a new piece of lumber.

Crack the egg on a stone

and drink it down.

War was such a sweet taste

when you’re in the base camp

and the sun is shining.

For now sleep boldly

in the middle of the day

and dream your life

the way it might have been.

Give the woman a name,

any name that suits you.

Don’t worry about dying until tomorrow.

Make them sweat it out.
