My purpose is to riddle you

with riddle you with a riddle:

If you move slowly enough

to mark your way,

how will you travel far enough

in your allotted time?

Puzzled another way:

If your journey is measured in distance,

and you stand still, standing still being

a prerequisite for dreaming,

how will you meet your destination

before darkness erases the path?

The paradox being:

How will you measure how far

or where you might have gone?

You will either have hurried past

your place in life or stood still,

standing still the prerequisite for dreaming,

dreaming being the true self who calls

where no one can hear you
