the great explorers
robbed, hunted and savaged
native Indian tribes
with swords, fire sticks,
disease and deception,

imported black slaves
to work their fields,
build mansions
and monuments,

gorged themselves
on the bounty of mountains,
forests and rivers,
plowed grasslands
to dust,

and squandered their plunder
one kindergarten class
at a time
